Come Thou long expected Jesus Born to set Thy people free From our fears and sins release us Let us find our rest in Thee Israel’s strength and consolation Hope of all the earth Thou art Dear desire of every nation Joy of every longing heart Come to earth to taste our sadness He whose glories knew no end By His life He brings us gladness Our Redeemer, Shepherd, Friend Leaving riches without number Born within a cattle stall This the everlasting wonder Christ was born the Lord of all Born Thy people to deliver Born a child and yet a King Born to reign in us forever Now Thy gracious kingdom bring By Thine own eternal Spirit Rule in all our hearts alone By Thine all sufficient merit Raise us to Thy glorious throne

about

A little known verse of Charles Wesley's famous advent hymn that pleads with the long expected Jesus to come goes like this:

Come to earth to taste our sadness
He whose glories knew no end
By His life He brings us gladness
our Redeemer, Shepherd, Friend
Leaving riches without number
born within a cattle stall
This, the everlasting wonder
Christ was born the Lord of all

It is with glad tidings that I bring you news of my first ever Christmas Album. My wife joins me as we play and sing various traditional Christmas songs as well as a smattering of original advent tunes. Join us as we play an increasingly diverse collection of instruments from the usual piano and guitar to the folksy mandolin and banjo. Instruments as weird as the autoharp and as majestic as the flute also make an appearance. And, of course, the quintessential sleigh bells.

Get a physical copy of the album while you still can as there are only a limited amount of them. If you would like a copy, order one today! Once they're out, they're out.

Enjoy the fruits of our labor in creating this holiday album and have a Very Merry Christmas.
